I can see how others may have taken that out of context and got offended, my bad.

ChazingTime! They have been communicating with me, and everything is fine. I’m okay waiting and will continue being patient.

My goal for this thread was to see if others had this experience with JJF factory taking a while. I came here to ask because I didn’t want to bother TD asking about the QC photos, because I know it’s not in their control.

It was meant to be a harmless inquiry. I have no problem admitting I’m amateur at this, and at forums period. I appreciate your response!

There are many copy websites out there who have taken the names of our TDs and set up scam websites.

From the welcome thread, this is worth a read, to be doubly sure you have ordered from the correct website (available at their forum page)



If you have ordered from here, happy days, 1st hurdle overcome and is just a waiting game now.
Unfortunately nothing the dealer can do until the factory releases more watches.

After you felt bullied here, what nobody' intention was, let me say some explaining words:
There are a lot of threads here asking similar questions. To avoid this experienced members wrote some sticky threads to answer these Questions,
but many times newbees dont read them and go the easy way.
I know that you ask only about the experience with a special factory, but it was thrown (by me too) into the same pot.
Let me tell you at least how I handle it: After ordering from a TD here I just forget about the whole process until QC arrive, and after GL them
I forget abou it once more cause I can be shure the watch will arrive. This saves me a lot of nerves.
Hope you get your watch soon.

And if you really read enough, you probably won't register to the forum just to ask questions like this. There are tons of threads with people asking the same question. The only difference is how hard you learn from this. An easy way or a hard way, it's entirely up to you.

My intention was never to disrespect the time people put into this stuff, regardless of what I read and researched I still just wanted clarity. Not a very welcoming experience but hey, what can ya do.

because I stood up for myself and didn't tolerate you all speaking to me like that, doesn't mean i felt "bullied." I'm sure you would do the same thing if you were in my shoes, your reply was ESPECIALLY disrespectful.

False. I guess I should have made myself more clear. The individual I responded to suggested that I get to know some fellow members. That's what I said I didn't have time for. I did read the information on choosing a TD, and the process. Hence why I am in this stage in the process already. I didn't browse every single forum in search of an answer when I assumed I was able to inquire.

Maybe I didn't read enough, but I am quite literally too busy being a mother to a 6 month old, a managing partner of a real estate development company, and part-time student getting my masters. Next time I'll make sure I clear up my schedule to make sure I read every square inch of these threads so I don't get barated again. Thx

PERHAPS there may be a difference between a new customer and a Gold Patron if the TDs are also across their buyer's level of involvement in the rep community, PERHAPS not. But the best practice is to reach out and confirm availability of what you want to buy BEFORE you order anything. If it is a relatively obscure model or one in high demand, then wait times would be longer. Still, a month without QC pics is way longer than a thing I have ever experienced personally.

That exactly what I was thinking. I even spoke to TD before I purchased to make sure the watch was available as you suggested! Thank you for not making me feel like an idiot, because I did my due diligence even though no one else thinks I did. I will have to follow up if I don’t hear from TD in another week or so. Thank you for your insight

I'm not claiming this person is right. I am also not claiming that everyone else is wrong. I said thank you to this person because they gave me an answer without any extra lip. I don't think my "who has had this experience" question even has a right or wrong answer, considering people have different experiences!

No one is being psycho.. I have no issue waiting, I just wanted to hear others experiences. I appreciate your input as much as anyone elses.

I can only comment on my experience. I haven't waited that long on a watch I was advised was available . I also haven't bought a rep in over a year so maybe the landscape has changed in that time.
