It's a stupid name because both that aftermarket case and the normal rep case are all made via CNC with an automated milling machine. You don't make parts like that manually by hand.
Looks amazing in that color, makes you wonder why you would consider a gen.

until recently Chanzingtime offered this fantastic mod with cnc case and PPF dial, now this version is not available and they offer for the same price 3kf base case and Buff dial.
I've read hundreds and hundreds of posts on 5711 dial color but every time something looks better and different: buff v1,v2,v3 etc, PPF v4, SW....
I can't understand from the photos of their site if this buff dial that they now propose what color it is (they are not live photos).
Has anyone bought this latest mod from Chanzingtime? I asked for a video but they don't send it, and not even live photos.

Like above mentioned all cases are made of Steel from a CNC milling machine...
As for the dial, none are 1:1 gen but most "high end dial" are "on par" with gen in term of finish and refinement and color variations, as usually there are personal preferences. Personally i believe the buff V1/2 are the most pleasing color even though their sunburst is a bit stong... but do not expect these dial to be 1:1 gen replica.
The main frustration of people building some nautilus is when they start to try to get a 1:1 genuine replicated watch, which you won't get for several obvious reasons.- but with hard work and patience, you can get a watch visually on par with gen...
Have a look at this build. It’s a franken, so gen dial but 3kf base with a ton of work put in. Also some components compared to each others. Gen is gen, but an aftermarket dial could make the job if you can live with it. I think you could boil it down to your personal preference. Personally I’d would go for PPF v4 and some more work on this dial, 3kf as base.
What is this sw dial like? Compared to this photo it doesn't look bad...

SW dial imho is too flat, poor in color variations. I’ve seen many pics, but if someone has one of these builds He would make a great gift to all of us if he could post a short review. Happy new Year!!!!

it's probably the edge of the date below. Before they changed the date font to the smaller bold one, the Nautilus always looked like the date was too big for the window and slightly misaligned instead of centered.
