My new clasp has arrived, its a service replacement (and the year doesn't match the case) but should be the last addition until I can find gen 555 endlinks at a reasonable price

I am attempting my first ever franken build, an early 80’s Datejust (16014), and would welcome any advice. The inspiration for this build is a stonep build with an amazing blue dial:

I’ve read quite a few build threads on datejusts which have been really useful with particular thanks to pompompurin for his build threads (though not all pictures are now showing). So far I’m still gathering components and now have these parts on their way.

Gen blue T swiss T dial

Gen blue dial?! Where did you manage to source one of these?! And in mint condition at that!

I've always wanted to build a blue dial 16014!

here's mine, 1984 Franken

Finally finished with this build. Fitted some Clarks hands where I coloured the lume to match the plots. Had to bend the minute hand slightly to clear the markers but very happy with the end result
