How about:

1) Sex Pistols
2) PIL
3) New Order

OMG I haven't heard anyone (ok, seen) talk about those bands in AGES.. first tape I bought was a PIL tape, followed by Sex Pistols, then onto dead milkmen, and just got broader after that :)

Man, lots of great bands listed!
My alltime fav is probably Black Sabbath, but also:

Ozzy
Motley Crue
Poison
Alice Cooper
of course many, many, others. I have currently been listening to a lot of BuckCherry.

I love the old skool punk! DeadMilkmen, Violent Femmes, SOD.

Holly shit, a lot of good bands already in here.....

I have really broad taste in music, but my favorites are (in no order whatsoever):

- Massive Attack
- Radiohead
- Pink Floyd (up to when RW left)
- NWA (old school baby, only way to go with rap)
- Ghetto boys (see above comment in parenthesis)
- Rush
- Genesis (cant believe nobody mentioned them before, and then there were 3, 3 sides live, anybody???)
- Beasty Boys
- Dieselboy (best jungle/D&B has to offer)
- Interpol
- Alice in Chains
- Depeche Mode (20th century only)
- Metalica (up to the black album)
- Nirvana (cant believe this wasnt mentioned before either)

And certainly others I cant remember now.......

I hear Rock & Roll by Led Zeppelin today on the radio and it reminded me how much I wanted to be Jimmy Page when I was 16.

That song just does it for me anyway 8)
