That GMF looks pretty good. The dial seems a little bit matte than shiny, is that the case of just lighting? The Gen dial is not as shiny as the BP dial.

Also how is the overall finish? Is the bracelet/clasp nice feeling.

Thanks!
I think its terrific. This picture makes it look more matte finish than it is in reality. I feel the dial is very close to gen. SEL fitment could be a bit better but overall I think the bracelet and clasp work and feel really nice. I believe GMF uses the BP dial. Can anyone confirm this?

Three days since I ordered my BP Explorer 1 with A2824 from GeekTime.

Went for the 904L version, on second thought that might have been a mistake on my end.
Will post pics when I've recieved it.

Went with BP due to feeling like it's more "gen-like", going for a A2824 movement was a given, nobody's gonna open up my watch except me. Don't feel like going for a clone movement that's unreliable.

Rolex Explorer itself is a masterpiece.

Not too flashy, going to fly under the radar for the most people you meet.
Clean, with the Rolex feel when it comes to the design.

I could go buy a genuine Explorer tomorrow if I wanted to. But I don't want to when you can get a watch that's extremely close to the real deal and you'll need to know the small things to look for to even see the difference between a replica and the real deal.

Investing the money instead.

Just GL'd my watch, If anyone is interested in QC pics just message me and I'll send you the album.

Took two attempts, first one had the Rolex logo more to the left in correlation with the 12 hour index. Was very noticable and I'd go nuts in a week if I had to live with that. Also there was some dirt (?) on the top left part of the number 6.

Second attempt had better alignment and no dirt on the number 6. Everything was good except the finishing on the minute and hour hands. But barely noticeable on the wrist i presume.

Eagerly waiting to have the masterpiece on my wrist. Hope shipping doesn't take so long.

Hope y'all have a great weekend.

The reps haven't got the case shape right yet. It's close but something is off just from looking at the lugs and bracelet.

The whole 904 and 316 thing doesn't make much sense. 904 is supposed to have a bit more corrosion resistance but 316 is the industry standard for decades. And I don't know anyone anywhere who can feel, see, or taste the difference between these two steels. 904 is basically Rlx marketing BS.

I have subs made with 316l and 904l and there is noticeable difference in color.

BP on the left??[/QUOTE]

Nop, that’s noob

Some differences I have noticed

BP; superb lume, great overall look and easy price point but (in my case) with a 2813 movement

Noob: feels a bit more solid, especially the bracelet and clasp, better movement

Perpetual

Bump..

Anybody else received a BP ? Or ARF I'm thinking a possible purchase of the explorer heard the ARF carries a much better bracelet then BP is the really a big factore? KJ2020 could you give a comment on your bp besides the movement being great due to its reliability

Thanks mate!

Looks good, how about the bracelet? I have been reading the best one is from ARF, what is your experience?

BP seems the best option right now, although I´m waiting for VSF. But I will not wait any much longer.
