So this is almost a perfect rep, just a small f###ing spacing "issue" which to 99.99% is not noticeable and yet some of you guys wait for a newer version of this.
Funny that the same people will say they buy reps for fun and not to pass them as gen. Lol of course you don't.
Poor TDs, can't even imagine what kind of people they have to deal with when sending QC pictures.
thought I read in one of the hundreds of pages recently (hahaha) that the reason the " E X " font spacing is off is because of an earlier 214270 dial rolex releasee. Noticed this sale thread in another forum. Look at the E X PLORER spacing. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=563872 or my eyes playing tricks on me now with every Explorer 1 dial I look at now.
That is an earlier Explorer dial - the silver numbers (without lume) are the most obvious difference.
yes, this is the reason and there is a thread where another user showed this thing.Yes, I know it is. I stated that it was the earlier release dial in my comment. Did you open the link? Look at the word " E X PLORER " its just like the JF version. Maybe this is the reason they got it wrong......
Compare this new release model text of "EXPLORER" compared to the older one " E X PLORER"

Okay, thank you. Another question about the movement, what is the most suitable movement? The best Explorer version is R factory - but the JF rep is very close.
Which does TD sells it?For me, this one. Movement, case, dial, bracelet etc, is so close that I wouldn’t really gain anything by having the gen on my wrist.
The movement is reliable, works & looks the same as gen, but get it serviced if your budget allows.
The fact that the biggest ‘tell’ is the tiny extra space between E & X just shows me how great the watch is right out of the box. And in the real world, that’s never gonna be an issue. And even if it was, it’ll take a gen dial.
