Well...every watchsmith should be able to service the movement but not all are willing to work on a rep. But there are plenty around the world as well as part of our community who can and will do a service. At which part of this world are you located?

Hope i don’t get flamed but why everyone so excited about JF version VS the Noob version?

I’ve read another thread comparing the two but other than the clasp, lume and difference in movements (debatable which is better) I really don’t understand why all the excitement for the JF version???

Hoping to get some constructive feedback as I’m trying to make a decision between the two factory’s .

Well...for me it's the movement. It's just great to be able to add gen parts to it to make it more reliable .

Makes sense if you have access and the desire to add gen parts. Would you say the Noob with the 2824 movement is better option OOTB than JF for someone who doesn't want to modify anything?

Nope...not better...just equal...both movements may need a service and once serviced both are reliable.

Congrats! mine showed up today too and i am absolutely over the moon with it! Looks like JF got this spot on, might have to get myself a grape next now haha

Hi everyone! First post, complete noob here! USA based. I'm a watch lover who can only afford nice Seikos and sub $1000 Swiss pieces.

I purchased this watch (my first rep ever) from intime, and the the 12:00 triangle looks smudged/dirty. Quite noticeable Couldnt tell from the QC pic. Otherwise, it's excellent so far.

I plan on living with it until I service the watch and I'll ask the modder if they can address that issue.

Can anyone advice me on where to find a USA modder who can service the SH Yuki and upgrade whatever it needs who can also clean or even relume that damn 12:00 triangle?
