Hello, I'm Steve, I'm back, with the VSF factory also joined the Oyster Perpetual series of camp, CLean factory is finally unable to hold back, also began to expand their own product line, recently released 36mm Oyster Perpetual, Explorer I and the Air King, although these series is not particularly popular, but for the players interested in this is definitely a good news. After all, with the addition of the top factories, there will be more competition between the factories in these collections, and with competition comes better pieces, more choices for these collections, and more choices for everyone. If we stayed the same, we would have no choice in many models.

Front Dial View

Light View

The black dial and steel case are always the first choice for replicas，Putting down the magnifying glass, it is hard to see any difference.

Bezel View

The gap between bezel and crystal is well controlled, and the width of front and the height of side are identical to those of Gen.

Crystal Side View

The crystal layers are fully synchronised with Gen, and the edges are chamfered so well that you can feel a distinct step when touching it with your fingers.

Stick View

The chamfers on the edges of sticks are very rounded, and the corner details of Arabic numerals are also not in any way problematic. Clean factory really does have a great attention to detail.

Oil font view

The regularity and three-dimensionality are perfect. When we compare the font at 12 o'clock, it is easy to see that Clean's oil-printed fonts are really full, especially the "ROLEX" font.

Luminous Filled View

The granularity of Luminous is noticeable and the fill height is fine, These are the usual detailing that should be.

Just GL'd a 36mm from Steve and it still has the error. Since it's such a small detail not really noticable at a distance, decided to take the plunge.

Thanks for posting - Steve has just told me that CF have sorted the issue with the 9 & 6 as shown here and new batch will be as per the Gen. Not too sure how accurate that is as the QC is only 2-days, pretty sure it will be same batch. Looks great though, enjoy the watch!

Probably not on purpose. Probably supplier stopped making those markers and they had to find another one or use AirKing markers. Normal in rep game and this isn't the first model to see stealth changes.

What’s the difference between the DJ crown used on older batches and the newer, closer-to-gen crown?
Is it the shininess? I read somewhere it’s about size, but in early comparisons with gen, it looks the same to me.
Some of y’all seem to think it’s a big tell, but honestly, the 6 and 9 issue seems way more obvious — I can actually spot that in photos, whereas this crown stuff still leaves me baffled.

That may be so for you but for a lot of people in this hobby it is all about the details. It is also seldom about the fact that others could spot the watch as a fake but for the own feeling that it is not as good as it could be. But maybe im just talking about my own feelings for this stuff ;-)

In this pictures they no fix the issue with 9 and 6. But if Steve say that CF has solved whe hope that in next QC will see everything perfect.

Hello. New here but thought I’d share that one of the TDs I spoke with also said Clean was fixing the Explorer dial but said it would take a couple of weeks. Just in time for tariffs to kick in!

guys, how to understand when clarity of the crystal is similar to gen (or just good) vs some deviation? For instance, on this photo, is it good?
