I think it's affected the 40mm too. I didn't notice mine on QC until after I saw this thread. Of course, after its been green lit.

40mm Explorer doesn't really have an aggressive "curve" to it like 36mm

That's good to know. Either way, it's too small to spot in the wild anyway. Only my own OCD I'm worried about.
