It has been an effortless experience so far with Tony. Before I purchased my Explorer 2 I emailed him with some questions. He got back to me and answered them just a few hours later. I ordered the watch that night and by the next day he got back to me with the QC pics and tracking number. I really really really wish in a way that I didn't have a tracking number. lol. It is just torture to watch it get closer and closer to Ohio each and every day, but not quite here yet. I am a normally very patient person, but the wait is just killing me. Here is one of the qc pics he sent of it. I'll be sure to post more when I get it. And thank you Tony for a great experience. I really recommend using asian7750 to everyone.

Thank you, I know I will. I do have one question. This is the first time that I am going to have more than one self winding watch, so one watch will be sitting as I am wearing the other. Is it necessary to have a watch winder so it is constantly being wound? Or is it ok if they stop running?

There is a thread around here or maybe it was rwg and there were differing opinions but the majority seemed to be of the opinion that winders are unnecessary and possibly even a bad idea since they are adding wear and tear on the movement. I was about to get one and decided to get another watch instead....

I found the thread. Looks like differing opinions. My explorer 2 is going to be my daily wearer. The datejust is a fantasy watch which I will just wear on occasion. Thanks Rush

It was indeed here on RWI.

I agree with winder=useless.

Don't forget these replicas movements will still lose or gain time, so you'll most likely have to re-adjust anyways.
Defeats the purpose of the winder!

Thank you Cap. Obvious.

Well, I received my Explorer 2 a couple days ago. We had a huge storm with several tornadoes that touched down near us, so our power was out until today. This watch really exceeded my expectations. What really impresses me is the attention to detail, and how everything fits together and lines up so nicely. I know some of you that are much more experienced could probably find flaws but for me it is perfect. I couldn't be happier with Tony at Asian7750. Thank you Tony, and I will definitely do business with you again. I had to take 4 links out. My wrists are really small. Here's some pics. I'm new to using Macro, and really just starting to mess around with it. I thought I had the watch all clean, but in the pics there's all kinds of dust. lol I also want to thank everyone here for all the great info. I've spent a lot of time reading the last couple weeks here on the site. It's been great being here.

Nice pictures!
Those hour markers look really good, I don't understand why they can't use the same on their Sub C!

Thank you. I really like these hour markers. They are bright. I have never had a watch with glowing hour markers that I could see at night and actually make out what the time was. This is the first one. I'm very happy with everything about it.

I tried searching about winding my explorer but didn't find anything on the site here. It has a manual wind feature as well as having the automatic movement. Do I ever need to manually wind it for any reason other than when I first got it? Also, how many full turns does this watch take when you wind it? I think a gen is like 40 or something. I just don't want to overwind it.

Also, on Tony's site it says it is waterproof to 30 meters. Is that true? I'm just wondering. I don't ever plan on being that deep in water, but just in daily wearing, or being caught in the rain, or whatever. Just wondering if it really is waterproof if anyone knows.

I usually wind 60, it will not end but just feel heavier.

No, I not believed it is water proof, probably just hand wash.

I have just been practicing with the macro setting, trying to get better at it. And I love using my explorer to practice with. Just some angle shots and a shot in complete darkness. I think the lume is awesome. At least it is better than any watch I have ever owned.

If you manual wind I would go with 30 turns just to be safe!

When you are wearing your watch it will wind itself, if you don't wear it for a full 24h the watch will stop and then you may want wind it manually again!

Your cyclops looks a little misaligned. Is that something that bothers you or no? I just got mine and it looks straight but seems to be a bit too far to the left.
