Sub Experts: so you know your stuff. Rep or Gen ? (and why)

I've always admired and respected those that are experienced and knowledgeable enough with the 16610 to accurately appraise everything about them simply by pics. I'm getting there but not there quite yet.
Are these 16610 bezel parts rep or gen ? .......and how are you able to tell ?

I am far from an expert on stuff like this but I vote rep due to bezel cutout shape, due to inner teeth shape and just overall construction of it... Pearl looks good however something aboit insert makes me question it.

And this is the problem with reps.. these parts are prob gen and u start over analyzing this crap. Probably both gen.

That's not what's throwing me off I might just be in a replica mindset looking for something dumb but i remember my gen insert the pearl was not glued.

Bezel looks like a rep. Should be two holes with crown inside I feel the holes (well indents) for the assembly to fit in. I might be wrong. The insert is rep I'm fairly sure . Pearl is too big. Experts are @smoke @occb2 @wm9z @tripdog for me

The insert looks decent but I don't see any shimmer either on the markers. At first I thought gen with replacement pearl but leaning towards all rep now.

Rep. The flat lip part where the insert lays shows it to most likely be a startime 18k bezel.

I'll call that a rep insert with gen pearl.
Not sure about the bezel and retainer

Not gen bezel assembly . I call rep simply from the click spring teeth on back of bezel ring. Don't look gen teeth angle to me? Can't see the scallops?
Could be TC insert. The yellow lighting ?
Can't see the pearl? Insert does look gen . With pearl replaced?
Give us some daylight pics and tell you in a minute

I have to say one thing about an insert. The pearl is what makes an insert. I have seen $20 dollar inserts with a real pearl that makes a watch look amazing. So as far as this case the insert looks real. But I can tell you the pearl looks really good. As far as the insert itself. I don't know. Or do I care. Just, enjoy the watch.

Thanks for all the input guys.
What is it ?
Well...I'm still trying to figure that one out.
But I can tell you what it isn't....it isn't a NOS insert and it isn't a gen bezel ring.
@JackJ1980 the little holes with the coronets you speak of are typically found on gen 18k bezels.
They're not used as any kind of means to install the insert...they're basically a Rolex hallmark, confirming genuine Rolex solid 18k.
But there's enough combined experience that's chimed in to call this one.
The retainer....I'm going to call that either Sean or ST.
BUT...a gen bezel ring will not fit this retainer properly: the ramp is right at .23mm to tall.
There's the correct OD difference of .2mm meaning it'll snap on: not quite as tight as a gen should but it "will".
Add the flat friction washer and if you do manage to get it snapped on, it's locked up tight and won't rotate.
Thank ALL of you for chiming in Gentlemen

On closer inspection for future reference
The machining and brushing can help I'D gen bezel from aftermarket bezel. Even though TC done a great job brushing and machining his bezel assembly especially the PA#2, They are brush lines you can see on gen with a loop!
Micro lines on gen bezel ring

Teeth

Screenshot_20170702-123812.png
This can be tricky because gen used bezel gets serviced polished over the years and can look rep as hell after being polished to death.
Any reference you can use like this is a huge help and could mean of matter of paying $100 or $500 for a bezel assembly that could not be gen?
And as stated above only Rolex hallmarks on White gold,Yellow gold,Rose gold,Platnuim bezel. Stainless steel no hallmarks

@occb2 ... notice the glue on the back side of the pearl ?
The insert is rep/aftermarket....I'm just not certain whether it's a gen pearl or a WSO mod.
The pearl "does" look pretty good but it's a bit too tall and mit's noticeable.
Does the WSO mod pearl have a sapphire lense of the lume like the gens ? .... because under 20x magnification it looks to have one.
