how is the bezel now? still that loose? or tight? does it click properly?
It's pretty tight now, but not as tight as a gen, because it's still the same wire clip construction that they have been using on all existing versions of the DSSD. It clicks fine.
The real deal (and the new BP sub-cs) have 3 ball bearings and a click peg under the bezel that it turns on , and it's held down/inplace by the retaining ring.
On these, there is a little lip around the outside of the rehaut, a little click peg under there, and a wire that goes under the lip to hold the bezel in place. Once they are on (properly) they are damn near impossible to get off without bending the bezel assembly. You can see the construction in DarthAlex's excellent teardown thread - shows gen and rep construction. These new reps are built the same way bezel-wise as the one he disassembles there.
