DSSD - SUB C Pearl Mod

I'm using some 5 min clear epoxy and just adding white paint for the trial. Well, I GOT IT. Needs to be a bit more refined, but this is the WAY TO DO IT. Remember this is the test sample so there are scratches on the pearl holder.

Very simple, just a bit TIME consuming. First I added some epoxy, just to level out the bottom of the pearl holder.
No big deal here:
Then I made a bunch of these. This is alot harder than it looks using 5 min epoxy, something longer drying is the way to go. Again, hard to determine the exact size, so just make a ton of them (or unit the epoxy is too setup to work with).
Then when they are COMPLETE dry, drop them babies into the pearl holder and your good to go!!!
Johndeepsea sent me in the direction, but instead of working with them when they are setting up, just wait for them to dry.
I also say a GEN today WITHOUT the pearl. The pearl holder on a GEN is FLAT in the inside of the pearl holder, not V shaped like the reps. The simple drop the pearl into the holder (not a problem when it's flat), add some glue, whatever, add some clearcoat and there you have it.
I'll post more pics on the final final version over the weekend.

^ okay, because that is how the Trevor bezel's pearl is shaped... it is flat. Good information, because I have one on the way... seems like clear coat is all I need! 
Ya with a flat bottom pearl holder, all you need to do is recreate the pearl. Really easy in that case.
I took a good look at the pearl today and it is not really a pearl like you said the Gen is flat. It seems like the lume is applied to the bottom and fitted with a glass dome that fits inside the steel cylinder. I don't know if this part can be found or if maybe you would want to lume the bottom and then use window crack fix so it is clear like glass let it set into a small ball put it in and then put the filler over to smooth it out.
You can look at this tech sheet and see exactly how the gen is constructed. The epoxy simulates the sapphire "lens" over top of the lume dot...

Has anyone thought about this: hollow out the pearl holder and drop a watchmaterial pearl into the inside? Or even dissecting a watchmaterial pearl for the sapphire lens...
WM pearl has greenish lume; the DSSD has a blue lume... However, if you don't care otherwise, then it is a great idea... one that I have thought of myself.

The material on this watch eden one is transparent and something white under it. Could it be a sapphire crystal? or the dealers have caught up? any way we need johnnydeep to evaluate it or TB
