DSN 5218-202/A. What to upgrade?

Thanks guys! Yeah, I love it the way it is right now! Franken Rollies have a well deserved break.

Just a slight dismay about how after basically having it in the works for three months (shipping and what not) I receive it right after an upgraded dial gets released My luck

Another thing is the availability of the new dial though, with current situation in Ukraine it may be available but most likely it is not.

BTW, anyone heard from Belkin12 recently?

I am still waiting for some preV hands Belkin12 sent it to me on Feb 17. Package got stuck on Feb 20 (war started on Feb 23/24) and it’s probably at the Kiev airport. Probably not getting those hands anytime soon.

So, regarding the dials from Belkin12, my assumption is, that he has full hands right now with other things in his life.

Last I heard from him he managed to get his family safe. There is a thread about his situation on the homage forum.

He is set for great things in our small hobby, I do really hope he can get back to this in no time which would mean his home, his family, his friends, all is ok.

Not too easy to find good 202/A pics as they are so rare but looking at this, we are not that far off:

Makes me think that my Belkin dial may have too much of this „effect” when exposed to sunlight:

Don’t sweat about the sun reflection stuff! Your watch is superb! No one will will take magnifying glass and check the sun “effect” on your watch. As long as the watch looks like gen, and shows correct time, you are golden.

Mine 202a is a little “older version” (Belkin dial) per PreV standards then yours and I am pretty happy with it.

Thank you! Yeah, I know, some flaws are inevitable, I have been in this whole rep game since 2004 so I am well aware of that. But considering that we have Belkin who updates his products, every find like that may lead to even better next generations of his dials And yeah, I am quite anal about little things! But it does not mean I do not love the watch, quite the opposite!

You have to push the pin out and brush it. Press and twist onto sandpaper in order to give it circular brushed finish

Belkin12 can help with the dial and also CB I think.

You have been around a long time - I'm curious what your opinion is? I have done a lot of reading/researching on this and have formed my own opinion but I am always willing to learn.

FGD did great dial and so did Southy. Even Steph_Dexter produced an awesome first batch despite the many issues and delays but Rolli/FGD collaboration was miles ahead in terms of accuracy
