FWIW I bought a fully modded Fiddy from B2K, and about 10 months later the crystal blew when I wasn't around. It sat, all by it's lonesome, on my nightstand when the event happened. It was out of rotation, so I don't even know which day it occurred. It was supposed to be genuine sapphire, according to the sales thread.

Mostly 47mm PAM reps with mineral crystals.

Any PAM rep with a domed crystal is at risk, except ones fitted with Davidsen's domed sapphire crystal.

His is the only crystal shown to never have problems breaking, AFAIK.

Nope. I asked him when I had my 212 (same case/crystal). He used to have a sapphire for an RXW chrono rep that he made a while ago, according to Enzo. Not available anymore.

Some of the 212/253 reps with the A7750s *claim* to have sapphire crystals, but I'm not sure how true that is. Your best bet for trying to source one would be PureTime/Angus, IMO. Joshua sourced my mini-Fiddy caseset, but couldn't source individual parts, it had to be the whole caseset.
