I think some modders can do it but not sure if it's economic in compatison with the Buff version.

Depending on how much I like the watch when it arrives it might be worth it
I have the 3KF Tiffany which I never wear and might use as a donner

In this case I'd sell the Tiffany and buy a Buff DiW (if they're still available).

I think this Miyota version has at least 3 "flaws" which should be "fixed", which mods can be pricey and long:

- movement swap
- crown recess
- case thinning

Nevertheless, I also like these two DiW 5711 Miyota reps and hope 3KF will release their clone movement version. If it doesn't happen then the current version would be good enough for me with the crown recess mod.

total agreement......watches are like panties they are changed frequently
It all depends on how I like it on my wrist and if my wife complains that it looks like a kid's watch

I received mine today I just sized it and put it on
my observations

the watch is beyond light you do not even feel it on the wrist
the carbon is gorgeous and the black SS shines
the case is very nice and the carbon is impressive
sizing is not as bad as anticipated relatively easy
negative the clasp needs to align to close but once you do it its simple

overall it's a beautiful watch that is very impressive on the wrist
I would recommend it if interested and hopefully, they will release this version with the clone

I am tempted to get the gold since I think it would a beauty
I will post some wrist shots when I get a chance

unfortunately, i do not own a caliper but the thickness matches my 3KF and the midcase is PVD SS which is ok with me.
is the watch perfect replcia no but for the money i think it is very nice.
the shine from the PVD and the forge carbon is amazing

Somewhere (unfortunately I can't recall where) I saw a pic or video showing the rep thickness being around 9.5 mm which I consider a bit thick for a 5711. Nevertheless, I'm not aware of the thickness of the gen DiW.

I did not confirm but the watch is 8.5mm from the sales and the gen is 8.3mm not 9.5

I had all black carbon version it's a lovely watch wears very light on the wrist. The links are a bit fragile when sizing, so you need to be special careful when pushing the pins out.
i ended up selling it because it did not have the clone movement.
it's a nice watch for the price point

DiWF has access to SA4130 clones, I’m not sure why they haven’t offered these with the clone 324 yet. Maybe it’d be harder to make thinner cases?
