This is probably one of my favorite watches of all time (I’ve had 75 by now) so likely going to get a deep xtal at some point this summer
To my understanding, all the 4130 carbons are a noob derivative. If yours truly is a clean, the crystal doesn't seem like a clean crystal.
The "units per hour" font on yours is incorrect. Across the board getting the right font is the luck of the draw. They're out there, but doesn't seem as common place. It's almost if the correct font is from a smaller batch of produced bezels that are randomly put on...

I’ve done a little digging on these and CF don’t actually make them. The only part provided by them is the 4130 movement. Everything else is made by a small factory calling themselves DiW factory (not the actual DiW obviously).
Seems a little bit or creative marketing was used by CTime on their website

No but seriously, I’d be very interested in doing a flowchart of the web of relationships within all factories. Including parts sharing.
But.. am I bored enough to bury myself into that? Would I be the only one that finds that sort of thing interesting?

Parts flow definitely vary with time and when you catch them. Especially these niche pieces which I can't imagine are produced regularly. There may even be old batches mixed with new batches. I don't think they're exactly waiting until there is none of a specific style to produce more of the same style. I would even think they may produce is once or twice and not produce it again..
The carbon cases are nice (much better in person than photos), though the QC of assembly and other parts need work. Crystal can also use an upgrade. But the cabron within it self is so unique you kinda just forget about all of it when it's on your wrist..

Ootb, these are great watches. I’m sure a mod here and there will only slightly increase the experience.
