The biggest difference compared to the $60,000 gen is that the strap on mine is with black stitching, while on the gen it’s yellow.I just noticed, they printed the DAYTONA above 6 o'clock subdial in white, instead of yellow. Thats a shame, cause otherwise, the dial lacks a bit of depth, but since every meteorite and carbon dial is different, not too bothered about that, but the colour is a fail lol
diw on request will change colors (stitching). I enquired during one of the older releases. The biggest difference compared to the $60,000 gen is that the strap on mine is with black stitching, while on the gen it’s yellow.
but we also got to think...who's going to know what DIW is?Tha strap can be remade quite easily, with the dial reprinting that would be a bigger project. Maybe some artisan can hand paint yellow over the white print with a tiny tiny hand brush lol
Oh, I understand: it's just a little better than cream in my mind. when I saw it my heart dropped.Oh it is fantastic, Im not complaining, probably going to get one myself, just rambling about details that rattle around in my pumpkin lol
There’s a seller on Chrono24 that makes custom diw straps if you wanted a custom.I have 6.5” wrists, but it actually wears fine. If there was a smaller strap option, I’d have gone for it though.
The watch is so light that it’s fine to feel it slide around
Here’s a video of it on my wrist
Are there any reviews of the clean releases of the cream version anywhere on here?. The only info I can find on these DIW Daytonas are for the previous Noob Release?I mean it's still a great rep in my mind, especially if dial colors are changed; though...I like the design anyway.
If you compare this to the cream v2, the subdials are on point... the cream v2, nope..they are a little too small and raised.
