Smart move because it would suck to spend all this money only to drool at a KW in envy.

You say that, but the ZF, despite some of the flaws, is a stunning watch. And the bezel alignment/CG issues can be fixed with minor modifications. By the time the KW comes out my ZF will have a pretty righteous patina going.

Yep, but its pointless for me to pre order as I don't know what to look for , I need to wait for the experts to start talking about the details.

I'm confused. You are waiting for this version , yet you don't know what to look for ? You are waiting for others to chime in ? I don't get that. You're allowing others to decide what will look good in your eyes ? These watches come in many versions. What may be an issue to me , may not be for you. Wouldn't the goal be to educate yourself on a model you like , so you can make and educated choice ? Call me crazy but I don't make decisions based on what others think.

You need to look out for that 'Gen Like' Feeling a KW will give you .. Like one look and it's

Sorry no offense just having some fun.

Honestly just wait for experts to do a review if you are a newbie or just take the risk if you just can't wait.

Cheers!

I am no expert by any mean, but from what I see in the pics CG shape is better in KW, but not perfect.
Pearl will be changed, so it's impossible to judge.
Most of all build quality cannot be seen in pics :)

I'm a Sportbike, old british bike, old car guy and have been since about 14 yrs old , I don't need anyone to tell me what I like but sometimes I still need advice on what part to choose and I can see all the parts on the forums I frequent, I don't jump on the first set of new XXXXX that catch my eye. With watches I'm a complete Newbie and I know you love your ZF blindly but I want to hear other opinions and learn I'm in no rush as I have my a BK sub c and I'm happy, I have a NOOB 45mm orange bezel PO on order from BK, I have a BP white 42mm EXP 2 on order from lucy cause I couldn't wait for the NOOB to reappear. You guys with your back and forth keep me entertained and at least somewhat educated on the Bronzo. So its not so much what I like because they look almost the same which is beautiful its more like which one is closer to genuine and doesn't have parts flopping around in the wind.

Thank you for your concern

ZF Blindly ? It was the first release of any Bronzo rep. I wanted to have it , so I bought one. If it sucked , oh well. But it's actually a very well made watch for the price.

My point was that YOU should put some time and effort into watches you may consider purchasing. Why ? Every watch has flaws. I may think the Z is a great Bronzo. Others may not. Sure , it's entertainment to see us go back and forth on what we think is most accurate. But at least I am debating with folks who have done their research on the watch.

My suggestion to you is to read all the info posted here . Look at the pictures , etc. I bet if I lined up a Z , KW , and GEN Bronzo in front of you , confusion would set in. Which brings me to my final point. Don't let miniscule flaws ruin the hobby.

Assembly of the watch is crappy... given their previous track record of producing good watches.

Thats my experience too. Look what I found direct from the factory, and same TD....

This was wedged under the escapement, and had damaged the hair spring. No idea how it got there, TD said it must of happened in transit lol

There are rep watches that are almost as well assembled as their gen counterparts and that are as well lumed and it´s always a blessing to get one of those: AP Diver, Breitling SO Abyss, some Rolex...
Than there are nice reps that consistently present the same unnecessary flaw like the consistently misaligned logo and 12´markers on the Myota AP 15400. (It was straight on the BP, same watch). It would cost about $1 per watch, max $2 to have those markers at 12 and the logo glued correctly on the dial before the whole watch is sealed. Probably it´s just a good, large lupe missing for the assembly people.
So there are some unavoidable flaws because a rep is a rep and some others which are reminiscent of a time when the reps cost $150 usd and that's my point of view and done with it.
I just belong to the faction that expects the Seiko $150 quality on a $500 rep, not more, not less and I don´t care if it´s assembled in a backyard or not. Ok, maybe it´s asking a bit too much but how about the $100 Citizen quality?

If I had the wrist(#¤#!! my child wrists) for the 382 I would buy both ZF and KW, see which one I liked the most and sell the other. Won't be that big of a loss, perhaps 30-60USD in shipping costs?

Wouldn´t be amuuuussssing if we all had the same opinion, would it?

And just like You, I also just wan´t my damned watch shipped at a slight discount and don´t need all that qc-picture and timegrapher crap.

Many of us have price limits, or this would be a gen forum and we would be talking at how nice is our latest sky moon tourbillon ;)
These prices are already leaving space for new makers to release their "reps of reps", it's already happening with the PAMs made with spare KW parts and the new factory (don't recall its name) releasing a new sub-c replicated from the noob one.
