If this is a DDOS attack as previously mentioned, and their server is hosted where I know it's hosted,, then
1. it would be the longest DDOS attack in recorded history on any server anywhere in the world,, ever... (even prior to their server being shut down) and that... yeah.. likely not the issue.
2. The equipment being purchased would already be in place (if not better) as the host is one of the most respected server hosts in the EU and has sites far more expensive, important and larger than RG that it must protect.
3. The only Cisco product that can be purchased for an issue like this cost $40,000.00 so I am told , why would anyone spend that money for a rep forum and... how could anyone have that kind of money laying around to buy something like this... but again,, should not be necessary.
Regardless of problem, I know how issues can be a pain in the arse, best of luck.
