If you ordered from the correct Jtime, you will get your watch, eventually.

The latter if you bought from Li and not some fake imposter site pretending to be Li. But I was more refering to laughing in hindsight because you have a general knowledge about this business, not because you have successfully concluded one single transaction.

And sorry to break this to you but the potential "loss" of your intended purchase of three more watches will not impress anybody.
I hope he comes through because I want to buy many more timepieces. It wasn’t meant to be a flex. I simply made the argument that a customer is not likely to return after a negative experience. It’s the same for any business. You probably wouldn’t eat at the same restaurant that previously gave you diarrhea.

The thing is: People here have been doing this for years, if not decades. Somebody barging in, all nervous about his first transaction, and making claims how this all "should" work compared to Amazon is not considered cool either. That's why you get the virtual eye-rolls. No offence intended, just trying to explain the dynamics of this.

I get it buddy, you're nervous, my first purchase I sent $800 to a TD for a Daytona, so I get it. But let's calm down and think rationally.

You said a few days ago you last replied after you sent the money. Ok, just politely send ONE message if he recieved your money yet. No more, no less. JTime will get back to you.

Depending on what you used to transfer the money and even where you come from it can take several days for confirmation and the money to transfer into China. Right now it's the weekend, so no banking is being done and people are off for the weekends (including TDs) - you take the weekends off too don't you?

So actually, him not replying sounds completely normal to me.

Some TDs, I send the money, then forget about the transaction until I get a message from the TD with the QC pictures, like a fun birthday surprise.
Yeah, I agree that blowing up his inbox won’t help the situation. I’ll just send a friendly reminder once a week.

Just curious, have you purchased anything from Jtime before? I’ve read nothing but positive reviews for the most part.

No worries, everyone was new to this at some stage. Hope your watch arrives soon and is everything you wished for.

If you're interested in watches as a longer lasting hobby, stay here, read and engage in conversations, and you will surely benefit from this great community. Enjoy, the waiting part is exciting, especially with the first few watches.

Li always confirms after the payment went through maybe yours got delayed or there was a typo.
I am assuming you've used wire transfer.

Fyi this isnt Amazon because these guys risk Prison Time in China. So never say its the same. Plus you understand when the watch gets sent you still have a risk of getting it stopped by customs. And depending on country you are at there could be more risk for you. Usually not and I never heard of one but I dont know all countries rules on counterfeiting. Also illegal goods dont follow same rules of sale. For example a guy bought kilos and kilos of Blow. And when he payd and came to check the product he was killed and the cartel kepts both product and money. See how illegal things dont follow rules. But definitely a rule here is dont bite the hand that feeds you. And don’t argue with people that want to help you. If you feel getting angry back away from the forum, calm down and rethink what you will say. Because most here gave you the answer and also posted you links for you to read (which you should have done before ordering) so you dont have to make unnecessary posts. So as someone who wabts to help you and for you to enjoy the hobby just relax. Also the TD here are way better than like DHgate sellers. Here they will take time to photograph a watch and allow you to refuse it if its bad. DHGate seller just send you a watch that may or may not look like the one you ordered and shit can be misaligned and they dont care. So again rethink what you post and just wait and really go read the posts and new members area. Then you will see as of right now it is not the time to freak out. There is guys who wait 6 months to get a watch. Its all on the availability of the watch. Trusted Dealer is not something that gets handed out just because. They must earn it and they do.

I have bought numerous watches from numerous TD's...my current go-to TD is Li. He has never let me down. He even helped walk through setting up WISE transactions vs. PP (for lower transaction fees). Out of all the TDs I have used, I find Li the most responsive. I would be shocked if Li "ripped you off". Plus I always find it odd people new here love to publicly air their purchase issues without following up with the mods and help ticket.

I totally understand if you were taken...but there is a process. I in fact once bought a watch from a TD who did go silent (no longer a TD anymore)...put in a help ticket, and eventually I got my watch. The person lost his status as a TD and so far has not shown up again here on RWI. It happens.

Rather large sum of money? Even $1K isn't a large amount these days and once you decide to step into this arena, be prepared to lose it all.
