No guys, not happening. It's not up to us. The TD has agreed to a return and so shall it be.

Listen to the man guys. ;)

That and the watches are already sent, so speculating on how to turn them into money for Ryan is irrelevant now.

I am sure we can pull it off. We have enough members here and i am sure there are enough people who would gamble to win someting(me being one of them). It would bring all the funds, Ryan gets his money, Denis gets out of this thing, no risk of loosing watches in transit and while we are at it, we can raise funds for RWI. Win, win, win and win.

I'm in I don't even like hublot but would be honored to be a part of that for the cause.

Do you remember that S63 scam a little while back? I suggested the same thing then and boss said there was more to it than that.
I do remember that scam. It was a tread scam thoug if i am not making a mistake.

Yea you got it. It really upsets me because I have a full trust on this forum and it's a shame that there's people who take advantage of that mentality.

What happens if US customs nabs these watches on the way back?

Won't happen, customs scans on the way in, not the way out. Chinese customs might nab them, not because they are reps, but because a customs agent has sticky fingers.

Hopefully this marks a somewhat decent albeit risky resolution to the TD. I completely support the staff and non staff members in their actions to resolve this. Much goes in the background that we can be privy to. however on Denis, it may have seemed that the staff knows more than we know. Speculations aside, we know that Denis started contact with TB after his initial responses here. Since then and the eventual resolution, I did not read any indications that the staff was informed with proof about the alleged circumstances (robbery and such). As it stands, the unfortunate events caused a seemingly decent individual to breakdown.

This is what it boils down to:

-seniority means nothing as members can go rogue at a moment's notice
-we still cling to elicist type mentality when anyone posts a public question on a sales thread towards a senior member (hell it happened to me on a non sale thread and to this day I lost a"friend" because of it yet here on this thread we champion decent and respectful differences of opinion).
-this hobby creates such a passion and addiction to watches that it can become toxic possibly even moreso than narcotics. Having said that, if you are truly decent, you do not go rogue. No bs, excuses... period.
-we can disect tact and what not but at the end of the day, RWI stands for more than a pitstop of repdom. It is a camaraderie of individuals that share a passion which transcends borders, race and gender. I applaud the closeness, quickness and decisive manner that the staff and members voluntarily contribute. Not just in this instance but in everyday workings at RWI

u cant get ripped off if u dont bendover , lmao

I'm not sure WTF that means but when the rippers come knocking at the TRC door (which they will) you won't be howling with laughs then.

RWI does more to protect its members and dealers then any forum I've ever known of. Bring a problem to geek or jr and watch how seriously they take your complaint and how slowly they take action. Fact here is if it wasn't for RWIs staff the dealer wouldn't be getting shit back and a lot of other members wouldn't have seen their watches or funds ever again.

The Only reason Ryan is getting his watches back is because of RWI, not because Denis said I'm sorry, I F'ed up, and I want to make things right. No its because this thread and all the pressure from our staff basically forced him to make it right and lets not forget Denis is Not paying the dealer in funds he's paying by sending the stolen watches back (supposedly) to the guy he ripped off. Denis is no good guy here coming clean and asking for forgiveness. He's a guy with his balls so tight in TBs vice he's squirming, so F him.

You found the best watch forum on the web and were glad to have you and if you ever have any doubts think of this thread and what RWI will do for its own.:sub4me:

Question: Although it is already beyond our borders, what if the other forums harbor Denis and let him be a posting member? Then starts selling again. I've seen a few who are banned here that are still 'unbanned' members on other sites.

I don't think the TDs that we share with other forums would be comfortable with him being a member here.

Most, if not all, boards have been notified. They will do what they deem fit and we can't teach how to run their board. They might not be banned there but I'm sure the staff there will monitor them very closely.

I think if they keep him around, that isn't great judgement on their part.
