My experience with hem – good start, the watch arrived reasonably quickly but it was dead on arrival. They offer $25 to repair it locally (what a joke) or use one year manufacturer’s warranty on movement if I send it back at my expense. So I did. Four months passed and I still haven’t got the watch back. Tried to request a refund or replacement – no luck. Had to kiss goodbye to a thousand dollars.

This game, you must accept that shit happens - not everything will go perfectly. Watches can arrive dead on arrival - TDs cant control what happens to the packages.

Even US packages internally get thrown around, mail workers throw packages, you can't control that. Stuff can get damaged in transit.

While it's unfortunate it's not the TDs fault. And if you did your reading, you would know it's never reccomended to send stuff back to China. Either find a watch maker here or sell it off as a loss and chalk it up to the replica watch gods.

I've ordered 20+ watches and 3 arrived DOA. I sucked it up and got them repaired.

First of all, if this intime is really that intime on the TD list. Mind sharing with us the website you bought and their email?

I’d be a bit surprised if a “TD” burned you. They’ve got a pretty good thing going on here. Losing a steady stream of customers over one watch would be shortsighted. Crazier things have happened I suppose

More likely the package disappeared into the void of Chinese customs and shipping. Very normal. It's hit or miss. The dude didn't read anything.

Totally agree - the fact that the watch was DOA was not the dealers fault. Refusing refund, replacement, or effectively inability to honour the warranty - IS their fault. The watch did not disappear in Chinese post void, it was confirmed by Ryan that he received it. Since then he sounded like a broken record (excuse the punt) - "The watch is still being repaired by the factory..." Four months to repair - give me a break.... I was very reasonable with my request - refund, replacement or repair - in a latter case it should have been done in reasonable timeframe, not an open date some time in the future.
The TD is a part of supply chain who is happily and rightfully making a $, for them to say "not my fault" and look away is a breach of trust

So in this case the TD sends the watch back to the factory. What do you want him to do? The factory has the watch now and he can't do shit about it. Blame the rep game...

What watch did you order, might I ask? What clone movement?

When I sent my VS Panerai to get repaired it took 3 months for them to "repair" it.

So let me get this straight, Ryan did honor his warranty, your watch managed to get through China, he passed it to the factory to fix, and you're blaming him?

He has done everything correctly and in fact this validates his service as a dealer.

Blame the factory for poor after sales service....

Like, to give you an idea, since you're bitching, when I sent in my Omega Reduced 7 years ago it took them 8 months to service it and send it back to me.

You are insane. Your expectations are insane. 4 months is long but members have waited longer for watches being repaired from China - 6 months even. You demand better than gen level service from a replica factory lol

I would blame the factory if I bought it from the factory. Unfortunately I bought it from Ryan hence blaming Ryan. All that is confirmed is the watch made it China. Everything else is speculation... How, in your opinion, a statement "Your watch would be repaired one day..." passes as a honouring the warranty? Try to apply the same logic to a fridge you bought, a TV, a car, etc. Even to cheap Chinese one

You could have conveyed the same facts without using words like bitching, etc.
