wow thats cool daytona, the distance seems to be more than gen, but i guess you are not getting the watch to a rolex meeting so who cares, is sec@9?
If you don't care about the accuracy, why not buy one of the many different chronographs that borrows some Daytona style cues that isn't a rep?

Most of the 6263 and 6265 reps out there are far better and more accurate reps than most of the modern Daytona reps are.
never saw in person the 63 and 65, really looks nice. Also i guess having the sec@9, etc will help to last more than than sec@6

the positioning of the seconds dial doesnt have much to do with reliability on those since it's not a 7750 powered watch. Moreso it's the fact that the seagull st-19 chrono those are made with is one of the nicest chronograph movements made in china.

Some/many of them are, including all of the DWs and Spinmaster models

The ST-19 models are also very very nice.

True that - I guess I should have specified of the shelf. The off the shelf 7750 ones are junk with loud rotors and oversized cases , but the custom ones DW/Spin build are very nice.

The ST-19 have the stupid bottom subdial touching the chapter ring, but are otherwise a nice looking watch with a really really super solid movement inside them. I have a few of them, and I'm still amazed that you can buy a legitimately well made column wheel chrono for 250 bucks.

never saw a ST-19T at any website for rolex reps. Just Manual Lemania.

That's the ST19. They call it "lemania" clone because it gets used in the moonwatch reps. It's really the venus 175 - seagull bought all the tooling and the design from them.

I love them personally :)

Plexiglass = plastic btw. It's an acrylic plastic crystal, which is what most vintage watches had.

is not fragile? for scratch, etc.?

yes it scratches. some scratches on the plexi give a vintage watch character - once you have too many you can polish them out with polywatch (or toothpaste) in 30 seconds.

My Daytona came from Trevor. $168, it's a year old and still works great including the chronograph which I have ran for HOURS.

Fantasy or not I really like my sec@9:

Yes, it's too thick but in practice that is not an issue:

I'm not trying to fool anyone, impress anyone, so call it an homage if you will:
