Heres a notion... why not have our TD press the watchmakers into making a sec@6 daytona.
Uhh... they do.

If you don't care about the accuracy, why not buy one of the many different chronographs that borrows some Daytona style cues that isn't a rep?wow thats cool daytona, the distance seems to be more than gen, but i guess you are not getting the watch to a rolex meeting so who cares, is sec@9?
sneed.12 you refer to this one correct?.
never saw in person the 63 and 65, really looks nice. Also i guess having the sec@9, etc will help to last more than than sec@6Most of the 6263 and 6265 reps out there are far better and more accurate reps than most of the modern Daytona reps are.

Some/many of them are, including all of the DWs and Spinmaster modelsthe positioning of the seconds dial doesnt have much to do with reliability on those since it's not a 7750 powered watch.
Moreso it's the fact that the seagull st-19 chrono those are made with is one of the nicest chronograph movements made in china.

The ST-19 models are also very very nice.
never saw a ST-19T at any website for rolex reps. Just Manual Lemania.

sounds interesting. Hard to make a choice cause i love also the daydate. Cant forgive me that i lost one gen.yes it scratches. some scratches on the plexi give a vintage watch character - once you have too many you can polish them out with polywatch (or toothpaste) in 30 seconds.
yeah saw his website, also silix. My Daytona came from Trevor. $168 a year old and still works great including teh chronograph which I have ran HOURS

14060 or 16610 says that the new 29j 7750, with an upfront dissasembly and reassembly, paying close attention to alignement and set up lives hard and strong. He has a write up about it in his section.
