Daytona full tungsten case

Hi Guys

After doing pretty much every steel build I wanted over the last 4-5 years, my attention has shifted to white gold builds. Focused on Daytonas to begin with.

If Im doing it, I need to do I right, so the only build that would satisfy my craziness would be a plated correct weight build. None of this top heavy, head weight only stuff from QF etc.

Since Xing/David dropped of the face of the earth, and his “tungsten Daytona 2.0“ tread has disappeared, I’m looking for anyone who has a lead to a manufacturer that does full tungsten, correct weight Daytona case/bracelet/clasp sets. I’m 99.9 % sure Xing was only the reseller and not the manufacturer, so they have to be out there

I have a whole bunch of builds that I NEED to do So any help would be greatly appreciated

Following as well. I have actually came to the conclusion that at this moment there is no tungsten case for 126xxx. There are some reddit hoaxes floating around with 159 gen weight, but seem to be scams.

I suppose the same applies to 116xxx cases. The reason xings thread went dead is because the rehaut was shit, and the actual people who bought one were complaining about it. That means there is probably a difficult material to engrave. Should anybody have any other pointers, I m here to listen

not sure why QF hasn’t fi out the full tungsten brace and buckle.. the heavy links are about 1 gram heavier than standard SS.. as far as I can see no buckle has extra weight.

From my understanding, the Xing cases was tungsten core, wrapped in steel, so there should be no problem with engraving nor plating

Popup has mentioned to me he can source the steel wrapped tungsten case & bracelets from whatever supplier Xing 2.0s were being produced.

This was true as of Nov 2024 or so. Not sure if they are still available.

Beforenl the thread was deleted, I read it all and last posts were of some user here (dont remember who) who was expecting the 2nd case as the first was wasnt good. Then probably deleted. I hace asked numerous reddit sellers to give me rehaut photos of the so called CNC tungsten and they all have an excuse. QF is made from.a tungsten core and steel around it but dont know how. APSF had flaking issues and Popup was involved in some take the money and never send anything but excuses in the past. The info is publicly available. For this I concluded based on the info around that its not really possible/feasable because of the rehaut which needs good engraving...

There are various products with varying degrees of rehaut accuracy. Ive seen complete shit and some I could live with.

Yeah, butnwas raided, and new post raid ones are lighter (137g for the oysterflex) so less than QF. Trust me, I ve explored all options )

Agreed. I have a pre-raid I used in a build. Ive been more than satisfied with it.

Can check out the new CBD Daytonas for a 116x build. I was working with my builder to spec out a xingdavid 2.0 tungsten based build, and it was suggested to go with the CBD build due to quality, cost, and a mention of waterproof issues with the 2.0 case.

Agree with others that 126x full tungsten are largely absent as of now.

Sadly I do not know if I could go for one of these Tungsten builds, only due to the clasp not being the same weight like gen. It would not be of tungsten, and therefore a weak spot imho.
