Shocking but I actually think the sodalite is quite... restrained.. maybe my dial is just more lowkey pattern wise... I was expecting more... flash?

Hard to judge since sodalite is always random/batch based but in this case I prefer the right. But if the pattern on the left was good, it could beat SW easily.

And the dial printing seems to be differing between the two, not sure if this is gen variation or not (look at the 30 on minute subdial etc, one is straight, the other curves to the subdial, I think the curve of the SW dial is better to gen), Overall I think I prefer SW based on this direct dial to dial comparison.

I agree! I spent a year looking for sodalite dials and this is what’s available on the market. Lots of different patterns and cuts (might be able to dig up pictures) but I do like the depth and discretion of the SW

Come to think of it other than Buff meteorite... what are they still making? I heard SW and RB rn are the dominant players in after market dials?

Can always buy Daytonas, dials are hard to find, good choice. I think the original test dial daytonas were made our of cardboard or paper right?
