Yeah... it's an issue on every CF V3 from this year... and I asked CTime if they would be fixing it, they aren't anymore, they aren't focusing on 116x Daytonas anymore, so it's forever, the only way to resolve it is to get a 116500 or 116520 case from an older model,Alright so… I’m generally very happy with my CF 116520 (think it’s a V3), but there’s one thing that’s been bugging me - the flat surface on the lugs before the case ”merges” with the bezel. Is this a common flaw in this model? Also, I presume the watch needs to be disassembled to polish the case to get a more smooth transition?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers mate. Think I’ll try removing the bezel to polish it outYeah... it's an issue on every CF V3 from this year... and I asked CTime if they would be fixing it, they aren't anymore, they aren't focusing on 116x Daytonas anymore, so it's forever, the only way to resolve it is to get a 116500 or 116520 case from an older model,

No, I don't think it would work sir. Because you need to add material not remove it. Compare to original, this "flat" part should actually be curved. Removing and polishing it would remove the case shape of the lugs, so you made a small problem into a huge problem. I hear. Im still seeing new...forum.replica-watch.info
CF 116520 case issue
I just got this beautiful white dial 116520 from CF and I immediately noticed that there is a weird angle between the lugs and bezel that shouldn't be there: Video I compared mine to recent 116520 QCs and it appears that all newer CF 116520 and even some 116500 have this issue. I haven't found...forum.replica-watch.info
A fine collection. I think our tastes are very similar. You luckily don't have the vintage bug
lol I have a custom black aventurine arriving soon. I think/hope to have another 116520 for a (undecided) project. The third is a Clean 126506 I think, not sure. The last two are credit orders from Lang…hoping he comes through.A fine collection. I think our tastes are very similar. You luckily don't have the vintage bug
But you always have 3 more daytonas on order everytime
For me, I want a Black ADG Vintage, a Paul Newman (vintage w Viet dial), a two tone 126503, and a MOP or Meteorite to finish out the Daytona collection.
Throw them gen hands while you at it !. I've been saving my last gen handset for this one.. fingers crossedOh. And Clean's 24hr Subdial Le Mans is on the list. If it actually exists. And that one I'll go full balls to the wall white gold plating and gen crystal.
Fuck you're right. Gotta source those as well.Throw them gen hands while you at it !. I've been saving my last gen handset for this one.. fingers crossed
Won't argue with you there . Gotta have a meteorite daytona.. or 2 or 3 or 4.Meteorite to finish out the Daytona collection.
