She had to spend the week at the watch doctor. I tossed and turned every night, wondering what was happening to my baby. Finally got the call that she was ready, went to pick her up and she's looking (and working) marvellous-ly (kekekek).

Question for the vintage Daytona buffs on this thread!

I recently bought a JKF 6263 Big Red Silver. Pic below. I've been seeing, however, JKF Daytonas advertised across the rep forums that look slightly different - namely, the subdials look a tiny bit smaller and are moved into the center of the dial just a little bit. You'll also see that the "T Swiss T" is moved up closer to the subdial. See 2nd pic below. These seem very common lately.

I'm wondering - are there different "batches" of the JKF Daytonas? Or is the 2nd example not JKF? I'm certain the first one is JKF, as it was bought from @mclarendude and I trust a mod of this forum more than QCs and random users across the various M2Ms out there. That said - the second example does look a bit more similar to gen, so wondering whether I'm missing something.

Thanks y'all!

Yours looks like the first batch of JKF - characterized by bigger subdials that "bleed" into the track markers and a different DAYTONA font. No longer made.

The second one is 2nd batch of JKF.

This is what first batch JKFs look like :
