Yes agreed

Look at the case. It's different to a Daytona case. But it's "thicker" and with more material than a Daytona case, so if you're clever you can just shave the case down to the correct shape.

For Carbon NTPT, a giant block is made of layers.

Then a CNC machine is used to cut down the case from this giant block.

What they're doing is that, if you notice, is that they're machining the case to the "CRONUSART" case. This case has extra material on lugs and crown guards so it can be shaped down to the correct shape for Daytonas.

They probably deliver these cases to replica factories who do the final machining to make it a Daytona case.

Same thing with the dial. They probably deliver blanks to the factories who add the crown and markers and print pads themselves.

Owning this, would you also want to own an 116500 (or 126500 ), or is that too redundant to own both ?
For what it's worth, this dial is special. It's a light silver and reflects light really nicely in the right light (not so much in the above picture). So it's really incomparable to any white dial Daytona. Plus I like the hour markers, full subdials, and red hands. Those things considered, I personally don't think it's redundant with my other Daytonas.

I own this replica 116519 (White Dial), a genuine 116500 (Black Dial), and have been debating whether I should get a 126500 (White Dial), or if they are too close.
I see I’m asking the wrong person … lol … unless I want the confirmation to do it !!

They’re not close enough to be redundant IMO.
