I get questions on Daytona recommendations all the time and I have to explain "Daytona Beach" not "Rolex Daytona" .. until @occb2 built one for me, I hadn't even owned a Rolex in decades.

And this Daytona I totally copied from Sir @Hasselbaink who was cool with me doing so, only the hands are different and I'll likely leave it that way.

Need to credit @Storm. as well for pushing me to finally do this.
You did it right with this one!

520 is so good. My favorite “stock” Daytona.
Yes so true ! The definition of less is more. Can’t wait to Franken mine. Deep xtal is stunning though, don’t think I’ll switch to gen.

Coronet looks good. Honestly hard for me to say about the crystal in pictures. The Clean 116500 blk I received this week had an updated coronet but the crystal was still shit. Just get a Deep and be done with it.

I also have a gen 116500 lol I was not happy with Smarty. And I'm pissed that I spent $80 on them. Smarty end links were the best at some point in time, but times have changed.
Was about to pull the trigger on smarty end links (I'm assuming 116520 fits a BTF 116500) until I saw your comment. What's so bad about them? Just the finishing or the fitment as well? Couldn't find a source for GM links but I'll keep searching
