So my next confirmed build is a "Panna Cotta" not "Panna Lemon" 116520. The Clean base has been acquired.
I need to get a VVS bezel and a dial, probably also a Deep crystal.
I'm considering JJ or a custom Chinese modder - the important thing for me is the champagne subdials as well. I want a light creamy yellow not a hard lemon yellow.
Some reference pictures I acquired (I think one is from JJs website)
I love forged carbon. I would put a steel bezel on this (surprise, suprise lol) as there are too many textures here IMHO.Something different, forged carbon build

What end links are you using? Best I've found are those GM (or is it QM) ones.

And, on the Rolex forum, the consensus is George (Smarty Endlinks) offers very good End Links for the SS Daytona
It's always nice! If it seems small to you, give it to me!
Jokes aside, I also found them small on my wrist, that's why I regret not having taken them in the good years, they passed around in front of me, among friends and clients... I would be a really rich man now.
I only became familiar with Rolex when the Deepsea (the first 3135) came out, then my tastes changed over the years...
Anyway, in my opinion, the Daytona should be as it is, small or large on the wrist, it has the perfect fit.
Deepsea fits better on me but just not as good value as Daytona. We all wish we know the price hike early enough! It's always nice! If it seems small to you, give it to me!

I think it's safe to assume we can agree to disagree. GEN owners like myself are very happy with Smarty... I cannot speak regarding Clean as I do not have experience to voice a comparison. I purchased Smarty Endlinks and am very happy with even though I have chosen to return my 500 back to originalClean Oysterflex has had metal inserts since they've come out. Ctime sells them for $108...
The Smarty end links are terrible AND overpriced. The brushing on them is really awful. There are closeup pictures of them in this thread somewhere.
GM end links are excellent and 1/2 the price of Smarty.
I just got the clean oyster flex and it’s actually very good quality and comfortable to wear. Not bad for the $108 pricingI think it's safe to assume we can agree to disagree.
