Very hard to capture meteorite. Nikz build, latest dial. BTF base, CF oysterflex. Full movement service and WG plating.
The main flaw is the text is not bold enough, and the Daytona needs to be raised/be more 3d a little. Nikz said printing on meteorite is hard business, so yeah.
Love it anyways though, and the flaws are very minor when looking at your wrist, all you see are those beautiful meteorite patterns. And it looks different depending on the angle as well, and shimmers in certain light. Very cool.
Nikz has made some revisions over the past year or two in terms of print quality, text placement, and this meteorite dial got a very nice light dial, normally Nikz dials are thought to be darker. Nikz told me it mostly just depends on the meteorite source material, ie. the cut of it they have to work with. Some will be lighter, some darker.
Best meteorite dial besides Oascom maybe, but $1500 for a dial

I am planning to install my new Aventurine dial this Friday... if all goes well.Yes, only JJ has these right now.
Dirty crystal, but that's okay. Took this in the bathroom anyway lol

So my next confirmed build is a "Panna Cotta" not "Panna Lemon" 116520. The Clean base has been acquired.
I need to get a VVS bezel and a dial, probably also a Deep crystal.
I'm considering JJ or a custom Chinese modder - the important thing for me is the champagne subdials as well. I want a light creamy yellow not a hard lemon yellow.
