Wow, it was already before an amazing looking Daytona.
But now, with this bezel - this is the cherry on the cake.

What f***ing amazing build. Such a beauty !!!!

Unfortunately not mine. It's JJs personal watch. The dial was a prototype before it was added to his sales catalogue.

It was his personal dream to have a Panna dial 116520 with these exact specs. p series style.

At some point it's gone be aged also, the case and bracelet.

Question for the connoisseurs - did the 116519 case shape change at all since it was introduced in the early 2000s?

I know that the rehaut was added in around 2004 and that the clasp used to be short. Before I wipe the rehaut on this new one (which happens to be awfully done) for a white Arabic dial build, I'm wondering if there are other changes required to make it period correct. Thanks guys.

Yes. Whole kit, dial and bezel. It's special order from JJ, not sold unless you ask for it.

All early 2000s models have more rounded lugs on the top side of case

People think it's over polished but that's just how they used to look during that period

Yes. While kit, dial and bezel. It's special order from JJ, not sold unless you ask for it.

But at this point I think I'll look for some nice daytona in m2m, I won't be able to resist if I keep looking at this thread!

Soon I will be sent a 116500 and a 116520, both Clean and Deep Crystal (I am not including the QC photos so as not to ruin the charm of this thread, but if you want...)... as well as other watches already shipped.

They are so beautiful that I think I will leave them "stock" and I am ready to wait months.

Do you recommend evaluating BTF Daytona to look for in m2m?

They are so beautiful that I think I will leave them "stock" and I am ready to wait months.

With the newest batch CF there's no need for new crystals. They are very good. Btf never needs new crystal, theirs is impeccable.

As for build base, id say go with what you like better, I prefer btf, but the newest batch CF have caught up in terms of quality A LOT. better SEL, better glass, better movement feel, pushers feel more sturdy.

Not wasted yet. It may very well be you have bought in the transition period and still have the CloudY CF Crystal.
