Super easy build. Go get a Clean base, plate it in rose gold, then toss on a Buff meteorite dial.Has anyone built a rose gold 116505 meteorite dial? - seen a few tungsten examples but haven’t seen great reports of them. I know JJ has the dials, but hasn’t seen any real life builds.

Well, I can already call you out the fact that doesn't look like White Gold plating.
It may just be the lighting too, but that meteorite dial is too soft and light looking, not textured enough.
None of that matters though, if you're flaunting it in a watch group or a group you'll regularly attend, the simple question is : do you make enough money to afford a 100k watch? Yes or no?
Personally, I wouldn't wear a meteorite Daytona around any enthusiast Rolex. Unless you're a big client/collector of Rolex, or multi millionaire, the questions you'll get are most likely how you acquired one. These things are very rare in the wild, even amongst collectors. You may be used to it because we see alot of them on the rep forums, but in real life they're not easy to come back.

There's some other custom factories out there, I think i like the Shenzhen dial the most. quite frankly with the meteorite dials you just have to hunt around for a pattern you like. It's very personal preference. Some people prefer lighter or darker color, me, i like the dark, textured, real grungy meteorite dials.
Look up @xing_david post history. From memory there’s a thread called HEAVY Daytona or similar that has RG meteorite build pics
Love this reply! I’ll get it white gold plated, spent $980 and this is right out the box! I work in private equity so I’m around multi millionaires and they’ll definitely catch on, and luckily I look like I could afford a real one haha.
I have a dark, aggressive pattern SW dial on the way to me. I figure why not go for something that is no doubt meteorite looking if you go for meteorite. Although in different light/angles it looks light/not too aggressive too!
Probably my favorite arabic daytona... the arabic bezel makes it. Now I don't even want a Arabic Platona or any more arabic dial watches... the grey is fucking gorgeous

That's incredible. The gold accents on the dial just pop. Is it a custom dial? and fantasy bezel?
