Having a considerable amount of trouble mounting these endlinks with a leather strap onto my 116520, have tried the stock spring bars as well as thinner ones but they don’t click in. It’s as if the leather is too thick.
Has anyone successfully done this? Any suggestions on how to get them to fit?

Will they fit without the end links? Yes they do. I think it’s a question of the thickness of the tip of the strap

Maybe try heating up the end of the strap so it’s more flexible (easier to compress)?
