You're right this is super noticeable when viewing a 40mm watch that is zoomed in to roughly 140mm (first image) or 80mm (second image). In reality looking at a 40mm watch with 20/20 vision considering probably 1% of the population actually owns this watch it's probably less important than people make it out to be here =)

As someone who had a gen for 2 months prior to the noob. I couldnt tell upon initial inspection. It looks like the real thing. And 0% of my friends and family can tell. Side by side is how you can tell even then it's very slight except to the people here with discerning tastes.

shotgun I assume it's not gen (but it looks so) ... can you please list your mods and who reworked the case and how?
I'm also curious to know if you're using the gen gasket and if you ever measured the thickness... sorry for so many questions but I admit it is a really good daytona!
