markfisher Yes - totally correct - ARF V1 but slighlty modded (reduced deco plates from movement, slim caseback from JF Daytona faux-chrono, water resistant to 6 bar, ...)

Came out real nice. I'm happy with my Noob V2 but only because I dont wanna tear it apart to mod it. Would love a white dial to add to my black one though. Thx for sharing
Had this for 24 hours now and it easily takes the top spot in rotation - straight out of the box (no mods) Noob v2 116500. Probably one of the best reps I have ever had the pleasure of owning. This is saying quite a bit for me since it's 40mm and this is a rare break from my normal size range.
Today the 116500 had a new earth, a gen one, result is winding more smoothly (with noob was good but now like my gen is), better amplitude, perfect regulation, you could the difference on the noob one (up) and the gen, dial was also treated with a special wax to made it more pumping.
Really thanks to Harleysta91 who made a perfect job on it, he made the full service 1 month ago, and today the gen barrel and mainspring, now pics

You're right this is super noticeable when viewing a 40mm watch that is zoomed in to roughly 140mm (first image) or 80mm (second image). In reality looking at a 40mm watch with 20/20 vision considering probably 1% of the population actually owns this watch it's probably less important than people make it out to be here =)

Are you sure? I thought the 904steel comes in V2 version only...

Thank you! Indeed my TD said that V1 is not in production since long long time ago, I got my 316 steel Daytona in September and even that time V1 was not present... anyway, I like the watch, it has good SELs (all 4 of them, unlike my previous 316 Noob Daytona) and I am happy to have purchased it! No waiting for the full gold ARF Newman dial QC

I talked to Toro and he says only V2s were available at the moment.
