For those asking the GF Oysterflex does have the metal strip inside of it, but sizing is different than CF. Runs smaller.

Also the fitment on one of my endlinks has a slight gap. Going to swap them around and see if the fitment improves. I’ll remedy that later by other means if needed.

Mate those are pictures in the best lighting conditions. The pictures I posted are pictures I made myself. The clean bezel is pure crap and the most obvious flaw on those reps to spot from a distance. Once you have your bezel look at it in different angles and conditions the numbers should always look white just like the picture i posted above. And trust me they dont, they fade. And its not just this bezel i have 3 other daytonas with clean v3 bezels.

But if you want to look at pictures to compare the bezel be my quest this is just not how it works when you wear the watch.

Its fine if you dont want to buy a gen bezel but please dont write its not worth it without having had a gen bezel to compare its false info and will confuse other members thinking the bezel from cf is good.

Oh and the bezel color is also not the same as the gen but you wont notice it until you have them next to eachother.

And I just want to help you to get the best franken for your bucks so dont get me wrong

I do share the same view as yours. I kept my clean v3 black dial and swapped a gen bezel on. But clean’s grey dial is purple ish and not very gen like. For bezels, you’ll have to see gen ones side by side to know the difference.

Black dial has a gen bezel and panda has a v3 bezel

Still wait for SpongeBob for the platinum mod of the clean one. Could be a good alternative waiting for gen

My concern is shipping the watch outside of the UK. Since brexit I’ve had nothing but issues with customs. If anyone else can recommend a modder in the UK who offers WG plating that would be great!

The rendering is very beautiful, now it has some very slightly yellow reflect under the sun, like white gold actually. Plating is really well made ! Yesterday I’ve wash the watch with microfiber and soap : WOW shiny !!!!!
I don’t have much time this week but when I have one hour, I will make some photos and post it there !!

Hey guys ! It’s been an exciting project ! Finding parts, negotiate and thinking about what I need to get a stunning Franken Daytona ! IMO the watch is perfect, feels heavy, and totally Gen like ! Dial is perfect ! Everything is well aligned, even these CF V3 ceramic bezel that is damn way better in real condition than i expected !

If I had to talk sincerely, the only flaw of this Superfranken Daytona is the clasp ! Because real one is in white gold and we cannot compare Stainless steel plated (rendering is beautiful anyway) with white gold. The day when one of best factory will find a solution, I will change the clasp ! Or maybe going for a custom White gold one ! I have already received offer for one … have to think about it ! At this point I will just appreciate this beautiful Daytona 116519LN and I have to make specials greetings to @Nikz19 without whom, this project couldn’t exist !

Yeah it’s just crazy addictive ! Now I’m really happy with my Daytona Ghost but start thinking like : ok but now what’s next ?
