with real clone 3285?Ho contattato geektime e ha confermato che VSF rilascerà presto un gmt master.
Most likely. I'm not fully sure. As we've seen from the past few years, VSF tends to put true clones in there watches.with real clone 3285?
Counter point: VSF launched a series of forged carbon case GMTs in august that use the vr3186 movement. It seems odd that VSF would launch a niche GMT product with a VR movement if they were planning on launching a mainstream GMT product with a clone 3285 movement four months later. Most likely.
planning
For clarity, which part do you think isn’t likely? (Sorry for pedantic question, but I’m unclear on your response, and I’m hungry for any insight).I don't think so...
Agreed… but if I were running a machine shop and assembly line (criminal or otherwise) I’d want to minimize the variety of parts that I need to source or make. That is, try to reduce the number of different movements, hands, dials, crowns, cases, etc… so if I was a product/production manager at VSF and I knew that in three months we’d have a new clone 3285 movement from Dandong (which we’d have paid millions of dollars to develop), why would I tool up for a production run of carbon case GMTs that use the old vr3186 movement? I mean there could be lots of reasons… maybe the carbon GMTs are actually made by a small noname factory that’s using the VSF with or without permission (kinda like the BBR RMs are allegedly made by a wildcat factory that’s not true BBR). Or maybe a small workshop was going out of business and the VSF boss bought it as a favour to the owner, but inherited a production line that was already rolled up for carbon GMTs, so the boss is letting that workshop clear out their inventory before switching the tooling to other vsf models.Dont forget these 'factorys' are criminal organisations, they do anything for profit. Scam, lie, change names, bring out a updated v2,v3,v4 and then bring other flaws.
How good would it be if we get a surprise explorer 2!
Me too - I stopped buying reps and bought a gen gmt (not r-factory) but now I must have the VsfOh... wow! I was about to splurge on the C+F GMT II and now I want to wait to see if the VSF rumours are true... and then Noob will probably return.

Yeah I saw that posted in another thread. Very interesting if true.Rumors are saying C+ new meteorite GMT will be the first to use the new Dangdong 3285

Although the rumor mill on WeChat mentioned two clone 3285 movements, one from Shanghai factory and one from Dandong. Honestly rumors about two new superclone 3285 moments make me more skeptical, not less. But we shall see. My fingers are crossed we’ll see something soon.
Indeed. Looks like the Dandong 3285 has been released.
Check these out. Release yesterday.
