After 8.5 hours of office work my watch has stayed charged. Of course, sometimes I walked, drank and ate meanwhile but i didn't manually wind or intentionally shake my watch. I think the autowinding function of this clone movement works fine even with the stock rep micro rotor. 👍😎

It is not what we mean Paolo and myself.
If you do the same test with the PR at 24. after 8,5 hours it will still be at 24, it won't charge, it just maintain the charge ....

Ok, I'll test another, gen watch of mine from this point of view. I'll choose one with a regular rotor and PR indicator.

A regular rotor will charge, the problem comes with micro rotors calibers...the latter manage to maintain the charge at best in "mouse keyboard" job...

has anyone used the ACE/VSV or Ultra Movement for an extended period? Any issues?

FYI
Based on my experience the microrotor of the stock rep 240 movement properly, sufficiently and effectively autowinds the watch provided it was properly assembled and serviced.

Can anyone help me locate the improved moonphase for the PPF 5712?

Hi gents!
I was wondering if anyone could give me advise/their pesonal exprience.

I just came accross these two on Chazing time:

According to them the SWF model (first link) is better without the more expensive VSV movement as they said the movment is too unstale due to the balance wheel for the 5712 because of the many functions (unlike the 5711 in which case the VSV movement is better).

Any thoughts/experiences from your end indicating which model is best/closer to gen?

Cheers

That is a good question I want your opinions about too. Or will be my first (and only) PP, so which one to choose?

What about Chazingtime, is he a good and correct TD? I ordered all my reps from Ryan/Intime normally.

I pulled the trigger for 😨

Now just wait for some weeks...
I got my hands on my order this week! had ordered it in December and it came in a few weeks ago but I've been travelling so not able to see it.
But first impressions are really positive! I think he's killed it with this one. There is a big diffference in Dial color, hands, lume, moonphase color, capped pinions and engravings on the movement. Those are the key things that stand out. Even got a free tool to adjust the links which other sellers haven't provided in my past orders. Will post back soon. Cheers.
