Constantly losing access to sales section on new accounts

Hi,

I've been on RWI for years but I've never really participated in the forum much, very rarely post etc. I just like to keep up with new releases, look at watches, see what people are selling.

When I make a new account, after a few days of use it loses access to the sales section. The section disappears from the list of forums and clicking a direct link to anything in it says I don't have permission to view it. So I make a new account, and the cycle repeats.

Is there something I am missing? I looked around for people with similar issues and it all seems to be banned members. I assume this isn't the issue as I've never posted anything remotely controversial and only had 2-3 sales section experiences which were all very smooth (all buying, no selling)? Disabling ad blockers hasn't fixed it.

Any help with this would be much appreciated, I'm running out of emails lol

Um, perhaps the "multi-account" banner on your account is a bit of a clue? Or, maybe the fact that it has never been OK to have more than a single account on RWI. Why on earth would you keep making new accounts?

Haha I guess the multi-account banner would have been a clue if I had ever posted anything to see it next time my name.

Hello and WELCOME from the official RWI reception desk!

You are receiving this introduction because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or —for the first time(s)— elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the aforementioned section.

If you haven't already, please make sure to read all relevant sticky threads. They contain important and essential information such as the forum rules! Most importantly the sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Please also take another look at this important sticky that you should already have seen after logging on for the first time:

This quick anti-fraud guide is essential if you are about to order from a dealer for the first time:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We will gladly help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

How about thinking for one minute that the world doesn't revolve around you.
Seems like a very dramatic response to a pretty insignificant misunderstanding that doesn't really affect anyone other than me, thanks for reminding me why I stick to just reading here and not posting. "Thinking for one minute that the world doesn't revolve around me" in this situation would be getting someone else to step in and solve my problem for me? Maybe I'm missing something, I don't understand how that makes sense. I'm sure you guys get lots of stupid requests as mods, at the time it seemed easier to just move on to a new account instead of asking for help, especially since I don't contribute to the forum.

Thanks to those who gave genuine help.

Only staff and you can see your posts.

Every day we get multiple people who think it's OK to open a second, third or fourth account.
Because they made a post they regret, because they don't like their username, because they forgot their password, because they think they're smart and trying to set up a scam, or because they just graduated Spamming School and are eager to earn their first million roupies.

It's amazing that the supposed abuse the poor OP thinks he had to endure STILL hasn't led him to just read the welcome post w/ the links to the stickies, posted in this very thread.

Something that would finally clear up the "mystery" within 3 seconds.

It's like watching someone whose pants caught fire frantically dancing around a fire extinguisher, yelling "how come no one's helping me??? What's going ooooon???". 😂
