Has anyone looked at one of these Cartier watches with a jewelers loop to magnify the quality of the printing on the dial? I'm curious how good the printing looks under magnification.

Yes I have done that and compared with gen. It is very good. I can't criticise it with a x10 loope.

It's an excellent rep. One of the best you can get and doesn't need any mods other than a genuine Cartier strap. Here's mine on honey brown croc.

I spent a good part of today going through your old post "why buy gen" and some 40 pages of interesting comments which followed. Also looked at a follow up thread which distills the essence and lists/posts photos of super-reps. But important details such as maker and version are missing in some cases. Anyways, it did get me interested in the BPFF and the Santos. Then I find noob BPFF v1 is the better one vs. v2, and is out of production. A bright and sunny Sunday wasted, even in my own opinion

Specifically, on the gen, is the jewel in crown supposed to look light blue or dark blue? Timnic54, as you have compared gen vs ultimate, you might be the best to answer that!

Just bought one with a gen strap and it is stunning. Go for it. The difference in two ultimate versions is one has eta vs asian 2824. But who cares. Its a rep anw.

It's a beautiful watch with a reliable movement. And it is a replica very close to the gen. I recommend it.

I purchased my watch on an M2M sale, and the original owner had put on a GEN strap. I agree with you gentleman that, yes, buying a GEN strap by itself can be quite expensive, and even the cost equivalent of a decent rep. Ebay may have some good deals on GEN straps.
