We're assuming they're not blind...but possibly deaf.
On a more serious note, it is nothing but a simple notation as to why it was rejected as a nwbig.
Reading all the old threads of the Pelagos, I understand why the V6F blue is preferred. But I couldn't understand why the ZF black is better than the V6F black. Can someone give me a quick answer? 
The new JF air king looks pretty good. Anyone handle in person yet?

I think they are both great but after my research I prefered the ZF one. Can't remember why, but if you have any reason to believe V6F is better or equivalent, just lemme know.

I did some research for the Tag Heuer Carrera 1887. The rep is 17,4mm thick, the gen just 14mm. This is miles away to be a super rep with such a big difference...

There are different information about the gen size, from 14 to 16mm :blush:
I wouldn't give such a statement as you did. You did not support any technical spec issued by the OEM and it is totally unclear how the actual case size is specified. Furthermore I measured the size from crystal to crystal and I do not either know, if your posted value of 14mm takes the hight of the crystal dome into account. Having the unknowns in mind, I would not start questioning the super rep status of this particular model.

I did not ask for a image for this thread, but I thought in retrospect that it is well cared for here (had only forgotten to link you). I think your measurement is correct. Unfortunately, I can not find a review for the gen case.
Nevertheless I think that even 1.4mm is very critical in a 17,4mm height overall.

Nobody you'll ever find IRL knows the gen thickness. 3mm is a lot, yes. 1.4 isn't. You couldn't see it even with both watches in hand, take a ruler and see what 1.4mm is.
Plus nobody will ever be measuring your watch with the other one in hand to compare or knowing the gen thickness by heart.
I can't see it via my app, however has this been sticky'd yet? If it hasn't then it's a must. I would agree with 90% of the breitling and rolex reps on that list. Will also be an eye opener when i make a couple panerai purchases soon. Buying a house with 20% down and a baby otw at the moment so ya... will be available when i need [emoji23][emoji481]
