May I know why the JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon black is preferred over other colors?

Not necessarily. The Silver and Black are considered Super Reps. I have the silver version, and it's close to perfect once you change the strap. Note: The straps on the watch are garbage, and you would be recommended to change it.

The rose gold versions (white and gray dials) appear to have some shortcomings. There's a thread in the JLC forums you could go through that will better explain the details.

Thanks for the clarification, just that I saw that e black was listed as first class NWBIG hence mistaken.

Thank you Omagad for this thread. I was a bit disappointed to see the SD 43 not in the super or first grade replicas. However, I think I am still going to go ahead and get the ARF V2.

I think it's explained on page 1.

But consider this : NWBIG is so good that buying Gen would be dumb. Super Rep is virtually indistinguishable.

I think they have the datewheel and mag under control now on the SD43. Also the Bezel teeth improved significantly over time.

For the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms super reps I’m seeing several black versions from ZF and Noob. For example there is the Black SS or the black 5015C or RG versions from ZF. Which ones are super reps?
