I apologize but I remain confused. On my search I find the Daytona 116500LN in a :"model" SA4130 in both 316L SS with "fully functional" chrono at $598 USD....and the "model" A4130, in 904L SS ARF for $488 USD with faux 3 and 9 subdials...Ugh, it seems I am trading the supposed fully functional chrono for the much better steel construction ? Help

The classification here is sort of subjective. As far as this Daytona is concerned, timnic54 , a highly respected member, who has reviewed this piece in detail, accepts only a fully functional watch as super-rep. Others, will accept a non-functional chrono and find that the ARF is more aesthetically closer to the gen.

I personally will order the Noob. I like the full form and function, and the 3D power reserve. I would not get a rep with non-functional dials or buttons. Personally, and I speak for myself, it would make me feel like a shmuck. Even if the ARF has some microscopic closer accuracy to gen, I dont see those benefits if the overall gross functionality is deficient.

IMHO yes I think it is. I regularly have the Gen and Rep in my hand. There is a visible white edge under the DW hole, not visible on the Gen, but very hard to see and needs to be looked for carefully. The keyless works in reverse ( But that never stopped anyone calling a TC sub a Super rep) Otherwise it is as good as it gets. The depth of blue in the bezel is good. I have had three Gens in blue in my hands. The exact bezel colour varies from Gen to Gen.

I have no experience with the Ti either Gen or Rep. I only speak of what I have had in my hands . Photo colour rendition is very variable.

TI has the open caseback and the movement is decorated poorly, for what i can see from picture, it can never be a super rep.

Colour differs to the gen dial which is why it is not on the list. It was discussed in depth in the Breitling section.

Thanks to your list, i just ordered a rolex 39mm 114300 JF grey dial from Puretime. still wait for the qc pics. Cant wait to hand it on.
