If you really bothered about this, you can give the rehaut a light polishing such as Capecod will give the similar shinny effect of the genoh i see it now, thanks
now that you've pointed it out, i can see there's a bit of a reflected image in the gen rehaut, but VSF's is just brushed steel without reflection
Yes, the VR date indicator seating provides for that. The VR part has the properly placed protrusions that fit in the spaces in the 126x dial underside rims.Does the VR3235 accept the VS Sub dial w/o any mods?
i have not held a VSF in the hand to know if it would bother me, but i was curious what the fuss was aboutIf you really bothered about this, you can give the rehaut a light polishing such as Capecod will give the similar shinny effect of the gen
still good to know, i prefer the 116 myselfThe font and engraving style are fantasy on VSF 116610 subs. Completely different from gen 2016+ rehauts. There’s a big review somewhere here with detailed pics showcasing this.
Edit: Oh sorry just noticed this is 126 thread.
Update: Ordered V2 VSF 126610LN.Eagle landed (Clean 126610LN) - im in holidays now and will review when im home
V2? When did that get released?Update: Ordered V2 VSF 126610LN.

Sure - I had this model from VSF a year ago or so, and when I was selling I had to double check. I always do. Imagine, would be an expensive fault@derjenigewelcher
Genuine question (no pun intended) but have you ever picked up the watches and had to double check the serial on the rehaut to see which was which?
Like you've had one of them on your wrist and gone, hey wait a minute is this the rep or gen?
I've never held or had a GEN sub (congrats btw) so genuinely curious.
Thanks as always for the reviews / macro pictures
Sweet, thanks broSure - I had this model from VSF a year ago or so, and when I was selling I had to double check. I always do. Imagine, would be an expensive fault
Even if I was sure i would double check
If you never had one in hands that is gen, you cant tell its not gen. No chance.
What is the winding issue?NWBIG if you can live with the winding issue on the 3235 from VS factory. OOTB the best rep i ever had.
You can do research on @KJ2020 his postings sbout this. Basicly there is a part that should hold down the crown wheel while winding in the movement that has the quality of a rotten apple. As soon you have a amount of about 50-70% power winded up, the crown wheel rises a bit and it feels like winding is "slipping through".What is the winding issue?
What is the winding issue?
"The biggest tell is you."... the primary way to tell it's not a GEN is the wearer. This is how close we have come now.
