Welcome dear forum community to a comparison between VSF 126610LN versus GEN 126610LN.
I was coerced by P..DR..D to write this review
Right at the beginning I would like to state that I wrote this whole text in German and then translated it with google translate, so forgive me any grammar mistakes and keep in mind: I did not have a stroke - it was google
This is going to be a review from someone who is absolutely an anti-nitpicker - so some of you may not be able to accept the flaws I am ignoring. Happens
Lets go: =)
I ordered the VSF watch from Jtime, Li, (www.jtime.io) after the first raids against VSF.
In all photos where 2 clocks can be seen, the GEN is on the LEFT, the VSF on the right.
As you can see it is a daily beater, it already has one or two scratches
Bezel
If you have a direct comparison between GEN and VSF, I notice (I already had several GEN and several VSF in my hand) adss VSF is / was not constant. The current one is easier to turn, less clicking. You could also say less metallic. In addition to Rolex and Ginault , it is the crispest and most GEN-moderate click so far. The bezel insert is not perfectly aligned, so you have to turn 1/3 click further to align the triangle. I don't mind, and you could easily have it changed. 9/10
Crown
Quite simply, I hardly see any difference. The only thing is that the VSF feels more “jagged”, has a handle, and probably has a bit longer jagged edges. Very well done VSF! 9/10
Rehaut
The Rehaut is probably the weakest link at VSF and, in my opinion, the most tell-tale evidence that it is a fake. The surface is not polished and there are massive differences in quality and font under the microscope. I don't rate the alignment negatively, nor is the GEN perfectly aligned. 7/10
Movement / Datewheel
The built-in Peakock / Dandong Company VS3235 is absolutely 1: 1 to GEN in quick connection, elevator resistance etc - it's surprising, because the VSF that I used to have had / have a MINIM harder resistance when winding than GEN. The work is stable and accurate.
The data wheel is very, very precise and the color is printed on point. Still not like GEN, therefore 9/10
CG / Lugs
The CG angles are a bit different from GEN, but not very noticeable. The lugs seem to have become a little thinner with the VSF than with the GEN, but I can be mistaken. 8/10
Bracelet / Clasp / Glidelock
The clasp, the crown on it and the feel of the strap are 1: 1 like GEN in my opinion (I oiled it, the VSF strap). What differs is the Glidelock, which doesn't run as smoothly as the GEN. 8/10
Crystal:
I know I'll step on the tie of some, but I don't see any difference between the crystals. Please note that I am color blind and it may be that I do not perceive nuances in color differences. 10/10
SEL
Both 10/10
Dial
Greetings to the magnifying glass wearers and nitpickers among you who are crying because of the pressure. VSF did a great job. 10/10
End result:
Mathematically: 80 out of 90 points
I hope I was able to give all of them a few sweet minutes with the review and I hope that you will still have a little fun with the macro shots that are now coming.
Forgive me the quality, my microscope sucks
First the VSF:
Now comes the GEN for comparison:
