The Rolex service manual for the 4130 calls for the pivots of the chronograph bridge to NOT be lubricated. This is why I’d suggest not running the chronograph continuously. I suspect that these pivots aren’t lubricated for a good engineering / design reason (that’s above my pay grade). But I know that running a pivot in a dry jewel over the long term is a bad idea.

Does it say anywhere in the manual what position the stems needs to be in for removal?

Amazing work, thanks for taking the time this in details photoshoot
To see these details both on gen (great job Rolex) and rep counterpart is a great opportunity to understand what's going on

Is it possible to order spare parts for the clean 4130 movement? I'm not exactly sure what the part I need is but think it's called a friction spring for hour wheel, 4103-0945 part number. I can't find a schematic to track down the part and can't see it in these pics either. It's a very thin brass washer (for want of the correct terminology)

Many thanks, Shane

You mean 4130-0945, try to find it on eBay, gen Rolex parts.

Yes, sorry, that's correct, the 4130-0945. I'm not 100% this is the correct part I need though, do you know of a schematic or parts breakdown including pictures for the 4130 (either gen or replica)? I've tried ebay but can't find this part.
