Committing the state of the rep pams collection 2021

Ironically for me 2021 was both terrible and surprisingly productive in regards to reps.

I literally started getting into reps this year, just as the raids happened. I had earmarked all the Panerai’s I wanted for my collection:

1. Pam127 - due to timeless style.
2. A 42mm sub to use as a daily beater.
3. Pam968 - The most beautiful watch in the game IMHO
4. A Carbotech

When it became clear how serious the raids were, it made me incredibly dogged in trying to complete my collection whilst the quality of VSF was still somewhat available via M2M and other non TD sources.

1. XF Pam127 via Trustytime. Andrew was able to get some balance stock from XF and I jumped at the chance. Paired with a strap from Thomas Handmade.

2. VSF Pam1055 via M2M. I was torn on which 42mm sub to go for but when the 1055 came up on M2M, I jumped at the chance and don’t regret it! The green is surprisingly flexible with different outfits and works great as your daily watch.

3. VSF Pam968 via SuperMirros. Somehow Sead got his hands on a couple of 968s. My absolutely favourite watch and paired with another Thomas Handmade beauty.

4. VSF Pam979 via non TD. Desperate times make for desperate measures and I went the non-TD route to grab my personal carbotech favourite.

The collection completed whilst supply was badly effected!

I really don’t see myself buying any other Panerais for a while now. I want to focus on enjoying these before diving back in.

Great collection, how do the PAM Carbotech compare to your PAM subs as I am in the market to get my first PAM Carbotech.

BlueLineFarmer I think the carbotech subs are great. Its hard to compare them. Its a different animal. I find it has more of military rugged look to it. A must have in any pam collection in my opinion.

Ok guys, I'll admit it has been a good year when it comes to my M2M purchases, here's one of my favourite Pams, a 177.

My daily has been the 111. Tried forever to get the 985, just arrived and I love it. Most rare are the 243 and 029. Darkhorse favorites are the 727 and 1176.

kilowattore Its been a long and expensive journey to get to this collection. I have promised myself to slow things down in the new year. Sometimes I feel I enjoyed my watches more when it was a smaller collection.
